Our Mission Statement:
The mission of Dutch Fork Middle School, in partnership with our community, is to ensure that our students succeed through a rigorous academic program in a nurturing environment.

Parents,
If you would like to combine homework calendars for different teachers into one calendar that you can save as a favorite, follow the instructions below:

• From the DFMS website, under Fast Facts on the left, click on Teacher Pages.
• Under one teacher's name, click "Add to Favorites".
• Go to the top and click on "Show".  That teacher's name should appear at the top in a favorites list.
• Click on the rest of the teachers you would like to include and then click "Done".

A new calendar will appear with all of the favorite teachers' calendars combined into one.  Don't forget to bookmark the webpage.  The you can simply visit that page to see the combined calendar rather than visiting each teacher's individually.

The parent meeting for rising 7th grade students will be held here at DFMS on Tuesday, February 21st at 7 P.M. in the cafeteria/gym area.

 

  Recipient of the Palmetto Gold Award

Our Boys' Basketball Team beat Pleasant Hill Monday, February 6th, in the PAC  Championship Game! 

The boys finished the season with a perfect 17 and 0 record.  This win is especially exciting for us as it is Coach Criag Taylor's first season as Head Coach. 

Congratulations to Jalen W, Keaton B, Cortez P, Tyshawn B, Adam B, Sean R, Stephen D, Jo'mal A, Jarrett F, Bobby I, Devontae S, Bryson C, Jordan D, Ward H, Brandon R, Team Managers Vince Davis and Blaney McFalling, and Head Coach Taylor.  Way to go!

Congratulations to our DFMS Wrestling Team!  They finished the season with a 9-0, earning them the Midlands League Championship!

Under the guidance of Coach Collin (former DFMS student!!!) and Coach Montgomery, our boys had a perfect record. The following wrestlers are to be commended:

Students: The DFMS Food Pantry is in dire need of breakfast food items, canned vegetables and fruits, canned meats, and canned milk.  Bring your donations to Mrs. Dickerson's room, 310.  Each item you bring in will help a family in need and put you in the running for a free Valentine's Day Bundle.  One Free Valentine's Day bundle will be won by a seventh grade student and one by an eighth grade student.

Our new CATE center is scheduled to open in August.  Therefore, we now offer majors from 16 career clusters. Our students have the opportunity to take some exciting classes during their high school career.

Students may see me in my office to purchase yearbooks for $45.  There is the possibility of purchasing one after we receive the order in May, but no guarantee that there will be extras.
