The mission of Leaphart Engineering Arts Program, (LEAP) is to inspire, challenge, and empower all students by providing a rigorous problem-solving curriculum that is grounded in authentic engagements designed to create dynamic and innovative global citizens.

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE - February 2nd

Dear Parents:

On Thursday, February 2nd we recognized all students who improved on their MAP performance from Fall to Winter.  We are so proud of the improvement we are seeing in all grade levels and look forward to their continued growth over the next couple of months.

Friday, February 3rd, those students who have not received a discipline notice during the second nine weeks will get to spend additional time with Ms. Little in the Bounce House. I credit a lot of our student’s growth academically to how well our students are consistently behaving in class and the support that you are providing for us from home.

Also, we appreciate your support in ensuring that our students begin instruction each day at 7:50. Mr. Butler will continue to block the entrance on Leisure Lane at 7:45 daily so that students who enter through the cafeteria have time to arrive to class on time. Those that arrive after 7:45 should use the front entrance and park so that you can walk your child in to the building. Allowing them to walk across the parking lot alone is very dangerous and puts them at risk; so if they arrive after 7:45 please take a few minutes to walk them in to the building. As always, please feel free to contact me directly at 476-4710 or by email at ggary@lexrich5.org should you ever have any questions, concerns or ideas that will help make Leaphart better.

Sincerely,

Gerald E. Gary, Ed.D.

Principal
