SMARTboard Resources for the Arts
 This page has been created as a resource to anyone who is currently using a SMARTboard in their classroom. Many of you know the wonder and fascination students have with technology. This page is to get you started with links to websites out there that you could use with your interactive SMARTboard for visual art and other arts related content. These sites I have listed are some of the best for visual art instruction with a SMARTboard, but there are many more you can use if you click the "MY LINKS" tab at left. Jackson Pollock Painting
WOW! If you are teaching about abstract art and painter Jackson Pollock, this is a great tool with your SMARTboard. Students create their own on-line abstract painting. Just click to change colors or press the space-bar to erase and start over. Enjoy!

This is another incredible site from NGA that is a great tool with your SMARTboard. It allows your students to create beautiful artwork with many different element changes.

Students can use the same tools that artists use in this interactive visual arts website. Use this with students during an art class.

If you want sites that are excellent for interactive white boards, this is the one. So many fabulous links to visual art programs with special effects. For use with instruction and as a great SMARTboard tool with students who finish early.

This site provides numerous links to sites that focus on artists and various art periods. Although this site is not interactive, it will provide you with lots of great resources to use with your SMARTboard lessons in visual art.
