Mrs. Sara Semple

I am Mrs. Semple and so excited to be teaching 5th grade here at Seven Oaks! I love being part of this school family and our community and am beginning my 8th year teaching here and year 18 teaching. I have taught both 4th and 5th grade with this being my 3rd year teaching 5th grade at SOES. I really enjoy this particular grade level. I believe it is important to build and foster positive relationships with not only the students in my classroom but their parents and guardians as well and look forward to working together to achieve success and learn skills that will carry over into middle school and beyond. As well as being a teacher, I have 3 children of my own with our youngest entering 10th grade this year. I enjoy watching sci-fi shows with my husband and we are huge Star Wars/ Star Trek fans. I also enjoy movie nights with and without our kids, vacationing in the mountains or the beach, playing with our dog Biscuit and our energetic cat Sox, and game nights at our house.  I also am an avid reader who gets lost easily in a great book and strive to pass that love of reading on to my students. I am looking forward to working together this year and having a fantastic fifth grade year!
