Mrs. Byrd
My name is Elizabeth Byrd. I am so excited about starting my 15th year teaching at River Springs. I have spent the last 14 years teaching and learning in Richland District 1. I have taught Pre-K, kindergarten, first grade and math intervention. I have an MAT in Early Childhood Education from USC.
I grew up in a tiny town in central Vermont. I moved to SC after college. I am married and have a beautiful daughter. My family and I enjoy boating, fishing, camping, hiking and traveling. I like learning new things and I can’t wait to learn with my fabulous first graders this year.
