I am in my 32 years of teaching Physical Education K-12.  This is my 14th year at Lake Murray Elementary School as a P.E. teacher. I am a very proud Appalachian State Univesity graduate.   I have been married 32 years and have two grown daughters:  Alicia 28 and Kelly 25.  I spend lots of time being physically active so I can stay physically fit.  My favorite way to be active is walking our two dogs, Bo and Kissie. 

I miss seeing all of my students are LMES during the school closure for the Covid19 virus.  I can not wait to see you all again soon.  In the meanwhile keep coming back to check my pages.  I plan to post some interactive, interesting and unique PE learning opportunities for you at home.

Hello, My name is Marcus Nellems and I will be your Physical Education teacher this year.  This is my 11th year teaching and my 11th year at Lake Murray Elementary.  I graduated from the University of South Carolina.  I received my undergrad degree from Butler University where I played on the men's basketball team.  I really enjoy being active, relaxing, and traveling with family as much as possible. I can't wait to teach your student this year.  I hope they enjoy learning and having a great physical education experience.
