Welcome!  My name is Ashley Melia.  This is my fifth year teaching. I taught fourth grade at CES for two years prior to teaching third grade. I am a graduate of District 5 and love teaching in my home district.  I actually attended Chapin Elementary as a student and graduated from Chapin High School. It makes my heart so happy to teach back in the elementary school I attended. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Elementary Education. My husband, Casey and I have been married for almost 4 years.  In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, reading, and baking.  I love teaching and feel so privileged to work with your child each day!  If you ever have any questions, feel free to contact me!  My email is akmelia@lexrich5.org.  It is going to be a great year!
