Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Elizabeth Crocker

Growing global citizens who are readers, writers, and researchers is my greatest joy as a teacher! Having joined the faculty of Irmo Middle School in 2015-2016, I am beginning my 23rd year as an educator and have taught most elementary and all middle school grades. I love being part of Team iGrow, and I am most enthusiastic about expanding our magnet to include the iAM Escolares magnet.

As an Air Force family, we lived in California, North Dakota, Texas, and Nebraska before returning to South Carolina. I completed my undergraduate studies in early childhood and elementary education at Minot State University in North Dakota and a graduate degree in elementary education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. More recently, I earned a second graduate degree in administration from the University of South Carolina. I have also earned and renewed my National Board Certification in Early Adolescent English Language Arts.

My hobbies include yoga, reading, boating, and watching Clemson football, which is a family tradition begun by my father and continued by my husband and son - all Clemson grads! My husband and I are the proud parents of two grown children and are the proud grandparents of one adorable granddaughter. Our daughter and her family live in the Upstate, and our son  and his wife live in Dallas, TX.

I look forward to an exciting year of teaching and learning! Please contact me at any time with your questions or concerns. Together, we will have a successful year!
