Mrs. Lisa Nicholson

I am Lisa Nicholson and I am so excited to be your child’s 5th grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. My main goal is that all students can be the best version of themselves through a safe and positive learning environment. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and now 5th grade. I cannot wait to watch these children grow!

I grew up in a small town in New Jersey called Ramsey. I lived there my whole life until I moved to SC to attend the University of South Carolina. I am the youngest of 3 children and an Aunt to a niece and nephew! I grew up dancing and was on the dance team at USC. Now, I am the assistant coach for the Carolina Girls Dance Team. I am newly married! I married my best friend in April of 2023!

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina in 2018. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree is Elementary Education. In 2021, I completed my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from Louisiana State University at Shreveport.
