Committed to Excellence for All Students
Degrees and Certifications:
I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina. I have a Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Counseling with a School Counseling concentration from the University of South Carolina. I am a Certified Professional School Counselor, Certified Career Development Facilitator (CDF), and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC/A).
I am Maria LeMoine and I am so excited for the daily opportunity to work with each student, family, community member, and faculty at Chapin Elementary School. I will always do my best to advocate and lead alongside each member of CES with excellence. My heart is to teach each student to lead and advocate for themselves, while providing a safe and welcoming space for all. As a school counselor, I work to accomplish this by facilitating individual counseling, group counseling, whole classroom counseling lessons, and whole school iniatives when the need is present. I will work each day to enrich CES students academically, socially, emotionally, and in career development.
