• Question:
We are aware that there was a meeting held at the district office last year with teachers from Crossroads Intermediate and the office of the Chief Planning & Administrative Officer's staff in regards to these very issues (behavioral issues). What were the results of this meeting?

    Response:
At the request of the Superintendent, a meeting was held at the District Office to discuss the issues related to student discipline at CrossRoads Intermediate School.  The meeting gathered the thoughts and input of school and district leaders and resulted in 1) contact with legal counsel regarding a chronology of events as reported by parents, teachers and community members; 2) the temporary assignment of a Campus Monitor through the end of the school year; and 3) a follow-up status report to the Board on May 28th and June 4th.
