    This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of Finance and how personal finance provides a basis for students to develop the skills necessary to live and thrive financially in the 21st century.  It will allow students to become better informed citizens and learn about how personal financial decisions related to careers, spending, and how short and long term goal setting can impact their standard of living and long term financial well-being.  Students will be engaged in activities that promote critical thinking, enhance their knowledge of the tools they will need to manage their finances in the real world.
