• The mission of the Seven Oaks Elementary School MEDIA Magnet SIC is to facilitate meaningful parent and community involvement and to assist in making decisions on school related issues, programs, and activities.

    A School Improvement Council  (SIC) meets regularly at the school.  Representatives include parents of students in the school elected by the parents of the students enrolled in the school; three teachers from the school elected by the faculty; two community residents appointed by the principal; associate members appointed by the by the chair; four ex-officio members to include the principal, assistant principal, the immediate past chairperson of the SIC, and the Teacher of the Year.

    All meetings are to be held at 7:15am and to be adjourned no later than 8am.
