Mrs. Dalene Gibson

I was born in Indiana and I have lived in Irmo since I was 10 years old. I graduated from Irmo High School in 1991. In 1995, I graduated from Winthrop University and have been in the classroom ever since! I have been a teacher at Dutch Fork Elementary for over 25 years! 

I married my husband, Grant, in 1998. We have one daughter, Jalin, who attends Dutch Fork High school and is a competitive gymnast. When I am not at DFES, my family likes to hang out with family and friends, LOVE to travel, go to USC sporting events and play board games. I am active in my church, volunteer at Tot Trade Consignment Sale, and participate in several book clubs. I also LOVE Broadway musicals and eating Mexican food!
