Mrs. Trina Poston

This year is my 34th year of teaching.   My experience has been teaching four-year-old Kindergarten, five-year-old Kindergarten, First Grade and Third Grade.  I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina.

I am the mother of four sons:  Zachary, Andrew, Matthew and Daniel.  Throughout the years, the boys have participated  in many sports (swim team, baseball, football, track, lacrosse, and wrestling).  Our family is active at Union United Methodist Church. 

While I absolutely love teaching, reading to my students is probably my favorite activity throughout the school day.  If I were allowed to, I would read ALL day long to my students!!  My goal each and every day is to inspire my students to want to read.

Mrs.Melissa Ford

Hello DFES Families.  I am Mrs. Ford and I am excited to work alongside and help Mrs. Poston this year!

I am married to Kevin, and have four wonderful kids.  They are in schools all over the district and at Clemson University.  My kids are active in all types of sports and youth activities.

I enjoy reading, running, and being with my family.  I love living in South Carolina because it gives me access to the coast and the mountains.
