Mrs. Julie Krusen

Julie Krusen has twenty-four years of experience in science education in Lexington-Richland School District Five. Julie graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Animal Science. She earned a Masters in the Art of Teaching degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina. Julie began her career at Dutch Fork High School, where she taught a variety of science classes, including AP Biology, Biology Honors, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and even Physics. In 2012, Julie came to the Center for Advanced Technical Studies to start District Five's Biomedical Science Program. Julie has been a presenter at numerous education conferences and has served on several district and state committees.
