    Class Description


    The ESOL program is designed to help students who speak another language other than English.  The goal is to prepare students for success in school and in society through the development of cultural awareness and English language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

    Class Work  30%


    Quizzes 30%


    Tests and Projects 40%

    90% - 100% = A

    80% - 89%  = B

    70% - 79%  = C

    60% - 69%  = D

    59% or lower = F

    Classroom Materials


    Please bring your interactive grammar notebook with you to each class.  Also, bring any WIN materials you may need.



    WIN stands for “What I Need.”  We will have a daily 15 minute class block specifically for what YOU need that day!  

    I will be happy to help you with other class assignments during this time.  Make sure you bring the materials you need to class!


    Absences and Makeup Work

    Make sure your parents write an excuse if you are absent from school.  You will need to take the note to the front office.

    If you miss class, you can make up your assignment during “What I Need” (WIN) time.
