IRMO – Lexington-Richland School District Five has named Audrey Black as Director of Planning and Accountability.

Black currently serves as the Director of Federal and State Programs in Richland School District Two. Prior to that position, she has served as a Data Analyst and GIS and Data Specialist in Richland School District Two and the Richland County Assessor’s Office. Black holds a Master of Public Administration-Public Policy and Administration from the City University of New York. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of South Carolina.

"I am thrilled to join a district that is deeply dedicated to the success of its students,” Black said. “I am a proud graduate of School District Five. I would like to give back to my community by loving and growing this generation of students, like the teachers and staff of this district loved and grew me. I look forward to partnering with fellow educators and administrators to help build sustainable systems that promote student engagement, achievement, and well-being."

Chief of Student Services and Planning Dr. Michael Harris said, “I am beyond excited and thrilled to have Mrs. Audrey Black serving as the incoming Director of Planning and Accountability in the Office of Student Services and Planning. Her track record of excellence, extrapolating and interpreting data, building culture and teams, as well as understanding the intricacies of redistricting and strategic planning demonstrate the personal and professional virtues and values this District requires, and I could not be more excited about having Mrs. Black join the District Five Team.”
