School District Five hosting virtual Lunch & Learn on Pathways to Hot Jobs

IRMO –Lexington-Richland School District Five will host a virtual Lunch & Learn event designed to help students, families, and community partners explore clear pathways to in-demand careers.

Representatives from the Midlands Education and Business Alliance (MEBA), the Lexington County Development Board, and School District Five's School Counseling and Career & Technical Education (CTE) departments will share valuable insights on MEBA programs and pathways that lead to today’s hot jobs. Attendees will gain a better understanding of local workforce needs, career opportunities, and how education and industry are working together to prepare students for a successful future.

The event will be held virtually Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Click here to register for the event.

Community members are encouraged to participate by submitting questions via email at communications@lexrich5.org.

The Virtual Lunch & Learn will be recorded and made available on the district’s website for those unable to attend live.
