My name is Whitney Christley and I could not be more excited to have the amazing opportunity to teach your child.  I graduated from University of South Carolina with my Masters of Education in Language and Literacy and my B.A. in Early Childhood Education.  I have always wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher and I am so proud to say that my dream has come true!  I have a passion for teaching and could not be happier teaching at IES. I've taught third grade and kindergarten but teaching kindergarten definitely stole my heart. We are going to have a great year in Kindergarten! It is going to be a fun year filled with lots of learning and new adventures! You won't believe how much your child will grow this year. 

When I am not teaching my husband, Stephen and I enjoy spending time with our sweet baby boy, Lee on Lake Murray with our family and friends. Your child will hear lots of stories about Baby Lee! I also have a passion for reading and will share that same passion with my students!
