Mrs. Jennie Paddock

I am Mrs. Paddock.  I grew up on a farm that was split between North Carolina and South Carolina.  My mother encouraged me to read at an early age and I developed a passion for books.  She enjoyed reading aloud to me when I was little girl and I learned to read with expression.  I have always wanted to be a teacherl.  I graduated from Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  I have always been at Irmo Elementary and it feels like one big family.  My students keep me on my toes constantly challenging me as a teacher.  They share ideas and stories.  I have a classroom of learners that all think differently, but we come together as one unique group of individuals.  I have a love for teaching and try to share my gift everyday with the young ladies and gentlemen that enter my room.
