Liesl Price

A sweet friend of mine once declared that the only person who had a better job than she did as a teacher was Santa Claus!  I couldn't agree anymore!  I love children, and I am so thankful to spend each day learning and growing along the side of children!  It's a happy, wonder-filled place!  My husband and I have two teenage children, and this is my 21st year teaching.  These numbers are hard to believe!  t seems like my children were just born, and I still keenly remember my first year of teaching...but time does truly fly when you enjoy what you're doing!  My professional background includes an undergrad degree from Queens College (now University) of Charlotte, and a Masters Degree in Language and Literacy from the University of South Carolina.  I am also pleased to say that I have achieved my National Board Certification, as well.  When I am not at school, my most favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family!
