Hi!  My name is Kim Smith and I will teach 5th grade Gifted and Talented for the 2020-2021 school year.  I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University in 1993, my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1997 and my Gifted and Talented endorsement in 2018 from Converse College.  I am also Nationally Certified.  This is my 26th year of teaching, which is hard to believe!

My husband Chris and I have been married for 23 years and we have two sons.  I enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends!

I joined the Nursery Road Elementary Team in 2014 and love being a part of NRES-AM!  I can’t wait to get to know each of my students and families this year.
