Lisa Lee

I am Lisa Lee.  Welcome to 5th grade at Chapin Intermediate School!   I have been teaching in School District 5 of Lexington and Richland Counties for 29 years.  I've taught 5th grade for the past 20 years, but I have also worked with 3rd - 4th graders too.  I loved being a part of the new Chapin Intermediate School during the past three years and look forward to another great year starting in August 2018.  I have an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Clemson University and a Master's degree in teaching reading from USC.  I have lived in the Irmo / Chapin community throughout my teaching career;  My two children have both come through the Chapin schools as well.  My daughter is a senior at Clemson, and my son will be a sophomore at Newberry College this fall.  My husband, John, and I are glad to be busy with family and community activities.  I love working with children and helping them to learn and grow to their greatest potential is a huge goal for me.   Of course, I love to have fun with my students while learning and growing together!
