Mrs. Alyssa Colchin

              Welcome to Ballentine Elementary school! I have been an art educator in District 5 for fifteen years. I was an itinerant art teacher that traveled to Dutch Fork, Oak Pointe, Nursery Road, and Ballentine Elementary for three years. I have been the full-time art teacher at Ballentine Elementary for eleven years. I attended the University of South Carolina and I am also a product of District 5.

               I have been married to my husband for thirteen years. We have a beautiful daughter and a house full of pets. I enjoy to spend time with my family, go to the beach, and working in our yard.

               I am very excited about a new school year at BES. I love teaching art to young children and watching them grow into little artist. The arts are so important to our children's education!
