Mrs. Tina C. Staub
Dear Super Sailor Families,
Welcome to Ballentine Elementary School! My name is Tina Staub and I am honored to be your child's teacher this year. It is my belief that teaching is a privilege to educate young minds. My personal mission statement is, "Everyone is someone's child". I will always strive to meet each child's individual needs to the best of my ability.
I earned my BA from the University Of South Carolina with double certifications in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I received my Masters Degree in Reading from Clemson University and have earned the following endorsements from the SC State Department of Education: Gifted and Talented Instruction, Read To Succeed Literacy Teacher, and R2S Endorsement. I continue to take Masters level courses, attend seminars and conferences to stay informed on the latest educational instruction trends. Earning a Doctorate of Education is on my "Bucket List"!
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Kevin, for 30 wonderful years. We have two sons and two daughters. Our older son recently got engaged and will be married in June of 2019. Our older daughter began her first semester as a graduate student at the University of South Carolina this fall. Our youngest child is a senior at Chapin High this year and wants to attend USC next fall and aspires to become a dermatologist. Our younger daughter passed away at two months of age from SIDS, but she lives on in our hearts every day. Our family has a 14 year old Pomeranian named, Foxy Belle Staub. My hobbies include interior design, lake activities, reading, and traveling. I am a huge Gamecock fan and enjoy living on the shoreline of beautiful Lake Murray.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns or insights that you may have regarding your child. I welcome your input and know that by working together to support your child's educational endeavors, that we will have a very successful year. Thank you for sharing your child with me, it is indeed an honor!
Your Partner in Education,
Tina C. Staub
