After almost 20 years in business, I started teaching to make a difference in people's lives. I have worked in marketing, general management, management consulting, and advertising for consumer and business products and services companies. My experience helps me create and deliver lessons with real-world applications while considering the state standards for each class.
I am originally from Wooster, Ohio, and have lived in six states. I have a BA in history and social psychology from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, and an MBA with concentrations in marketing and operations management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.
2020/2021 will be my ninth year teaching. This year I will teach Fundamentals of Computing and Entrepreneurship through FIVE, the district's virtual academy. FIVE stands for Flexible Innovative Virtual Education; I am pleased to be a part of FIVE's inaugural year, and I am happy that you are taking the journey with me!
I have been married for 27 years. My son is a Clemson graduate and my daughter is a Duke graduate, so we have a team to cheer for during both football and basketball seasons. We have an adorable, lovable dog named Tagan.
