Ms. Bonnie Robinson
My name is Bonnie Robinson and I am in my 20th year of teaching. I grew up in Florence, SC and went to South Florence High School. When I was a high school student I loved being in the Color Guard, Show Choir, Interact, Beta Club, Civinettes, FCA and a number of other clubs:). I graduated from high school in 1988!
After graduating from high school, I attended Francis Marion University where I majored in Elementary Education and earned my Bachelors of Science in 1992. I then went on to receive my Masters in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1995. After graduate school, I worked as a college minister for three years at the University of West Georgia and served as a houseparent with the Georgia Baptist Children's Homes for one year.
In 1999, I began my teaching career at Loganville Middle School in Loganville, Georgia. I taught special education (6th-8th) and earned my add-on certification in Multi-Categorical Special Education. In 2004, I moved back to SC to be closer to family and I continued to teach special education at Lexington Middle School and Irmo Elementary.
I am now in my 9th year at Irmo High School. I live in the Irmo area and have two wonderful daughters who attend school at CRIS and IHS! I enjoy spending time with my family, going to church, going on mission trips and volunteering in the community, traveling, music, reading, and being at the beach! (I also love coffee and chocolate:).
I love being a part of the IHS community and am so glad to have you as my student. I look forward to watching you succeed this year! Have a great year!
Ms. Robinson :)
