Prior to teaching for the South Carolina public school system, I worked for the South Carolina Judicial Department, first in Family Court and later in Circuit Court.
I began teaching in Lexington/Richland School District Five in 1998. I taught at Chapin High School for two years and began teaching at Irmo High School in 2000. I have had the opportunity to teach several courses in the Career and Technology Department throughout the years. Several courses that I have taught at Irmo High School are Accounting I and II, Fundamentals of Computing, Business and Personal Finance, Integrated Business Application, and Google Applications.
I earned a B.S. Degree in Business Education from Benedict College, a Master's Degree in Conflict Resolution from Columbia College, plus 30 hours above Master's Degree in Technology.
