Mrs. Burgess

      I am Jan Burgess and I am so excited to welcome you to third grade where learning is fun and interesting!  This will be my 17th year of teaching at CES and I've also taught in North Carolina and Tennessee. During my career, I've taught  3rd grade, 1st grade, kindergarten and 4K.  I was born in Lancaster, SC and have called Chapin home for the past 21 years. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling and playing with my dogs.  I am looking forward to a great school year with you and your family!
