"There is no such thing as a kid who hates reading. There are kids who love reading and kids who are reading the wrong books."
-James Patterson

My name is Angie Bradley and I am excited to be on the Reading Intervention team here at Chapin Elementary School.  This is my eighth year at CES where I have taught 3rd and 1st grades.  Everyone is in a book club at our school whether it be in or out of the classroom or virtually.  In my book clubs, every child and their story matters! I foster an environment where we learn from our mistakes, help each other, and have fun together on our reading and learning journeys!
I am from North Carolina but consider Columbia to be my home since my family and I have lived here for 18 years.    I have 4 children spread out between Charleston and Clemson, including 2 children in Chapin schools.  My family enjoys being outside, playing games, and watching movies.  We have 3 dogs and raise Boxer puppies.  I love to kayak, bake cakes, and read.
An interesting fact about me is that I lived on the island of GUAM for almost 3 years where I enjoyed snorkeling in the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
