Mary Creech

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina Aiken and a Masters in Divergent Learning from Columbia College and am currently working on my National Board Certification.

Children are so very special and deserve to wonder and grow! Support and praise accomplishments, big and small. Please make sure to spend time with your family and cherish those memories together. Reading, writing, coloring, and playing games with your children will make such a difference in their lives. It can change their behavior, their excitement about learning, and make them grow closer to you as well as build their oral language skills. I am ready to begin a new, fun-filled educational year with your child. I know working together as a team, it will be great! Visit our class as often as you would like, you are always welcome. I encourage you to come see our work on display and participate in school-wide activities!

I communicate A LOT. I think it is very important that you know what your child is working on and learning at school. If I see there are patterns or things that can be practiced at home, I will communicate these things with you. I will send you high praises when your child has amazed me. I will communicate about behavior and upcoming events. PLEASE, check your email daily. This is the quickest and so far the most efficient, way for me to get to parents as most of our emails come to our phones or iPad’s. If this means of communication isn’t the best for you, please let me know so I can make those accommodations. I don’t mind at all! Communication is the key to success!

Please check our Class Dojo app for updates, pictures, and videos of our learning together.

I ask that you read to and with your child each and every day, as reading to them helps open a world of wonders for them and builds their vocabulary immensely. Allow them to write, often. This is a fine motor skill that should be practiced often.

I am here if you have any questions or concerns. Please feel free to give me a call at 476-3959 (school) or you can email me at anytime! Please do not hesitate to bring any questions or concerns to me. By working together, we can make sure your child receives a strong foundation in 4K for the rest of their school career!
