My name is Chip Russell and this is my 9th year as a PE teacher in District 5. I have enjoyed each and every year of my time here in the district and I'm looking forward to  the upcoming year.  During my time at District 5, I have taught at 9 different schools and I have had a wonderful experience at each and every school.  I will  be teaching at Oak Pointe 4 days this year and at Leaphart Elementary 1 day.  When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my wife Robin and my two children, CJ and Adalynn. My other hobbies include working out, following Carolina athletics and listening to music-especially traditional country music. During class this year, students will be learning a variety of ways to improve their fitness and wellness through physical activity. I'm looking forward to a wonderful school year!
