Hello.  I've been teaching for many years, the last twenty years at H. E. Corley in the Preschool Program.  I love working here. I enjoy helping young children learn and grow.  When I'm not working, I enjoy baking, boating, and spending time with my family.  I'm married to Hal and have two children, two stepchildren, ten grandchildren, and a Maltipoo, named Orey.  

Shelia Green Mickens is married to LeDon Mickens. She has one son, Lance. She has worked with District 5 for the past 19 years. 

She says, "Always bring a smile, you never know who may need one". Preschool children are her world and she loves all of them. They say the funniest things!
