I have been a professional educator since 1994. My service in Lexington School District Five has always been at Chapin Middle School. I have taught science to sixth, seventh, and eighth graders and currently teach seventh grade science. In 2018 while working with Chapin Middle School students I successfully renewed my National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification. In addition to being a NBCT, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Newberry College and a Masters of Arts from The University of South Carolina.
In addition to spending time with my family I enjoy being outdoors, listening to music, learning, teaching, and reading.
