As part of the screening process for 4K, we will now screen students for hearing, vision, basic concepts, motor and language skills.
School District Five enjoys a statewide reputation for leadership in the field of early childhood education. The district is strongly committed to meeting the diverse needs of its youngest students and is home to an array of high quality programs serving children from birth through age eight. Currently there are four Child Development Programs that are NAEYC (National Association for the Education of the Young Child) accredited.
The 4 year old Kindergarten Application Process for the 18/19 school year will begin February 12, 2018. Read below to learn more about the application process.(Your child must be 4 on or before September 1, 2018 to apply for the 2018-2019 school year)
The 4K application process for the 18/19 school year will begin February 12, 2018. Please note that your child must be 4 on or before September 1, 2018 to apply for the 4K program. Go to the school office of your zoned elementary school with the following information:
- Your child's legal birth certificate
- One proof of residence

At a cost of just $150 weekly, our program features state certified teachers, trained staff, key early childhood curriculum, and much more.
