Mrs. Abby Dreher

I am honored to continue serving students at Lake Murray Elementary school this 2021-22 school year.  This is my 14th year in education and my 10th year as an elementary school counselor. I started my career as a kindergarten teacher in Jackson, GA before moving to the district to teach at Harbison West Elementary School. With this being my 5th year at LMES, I am extremely excited to continuing working with the students, families, and faculty at Lake Murray Elementary.

When I am away from school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, David, and our two daughters, Amelia and Adalyn. I also enjoy sewing, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, reading, and bible art journaling.

(Mrs. Dreher serves 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grade.)

Mrs. Kelli Desormeaux

I love that I get to serve many students here at Lake Murray Elementary school this 2021-22 school year. I couldn't imagine starting my career as a School Counselor anywhere else. In December of 2019, I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Master's in Counseling and a concentration in School Counseling. With it being my first year at LMES, I am eager to meet all the students and partner with all the families, students, and faculty to make school a safe, happy, and positive learning environment.

When I am away from school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Bailey, and our baby boy, Charlie.  I love to be outside, exercise, spend time with friends, explore new places, listen to worship music, and cheer on the New Orleans Saints.

{Mrs. Desormeaux served kindergarten and first grade.}
