Mr. Wilson is certified by the National Institute for Metalworking Skills and has 25 years of experience teaching Machine Tool Technology, Precision Machining, Mechatronics, Engineering, and Mathematics. He is also a Certified Inspector for Titans of CNC's CNC Expert certifications.

This course provides classroom instruction and lab experience related to metalworking. It focuses on the operation of equipment such as the lathe, milling machine, grinders, drilling machines, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools. Blueprint reading and math are important parts of the course. Students who register for this course should enjoy working with machines and making metal projects.

This course is a continuation of IPT 1, it provides classroom instruction and lab experience related to metalworking.
