I have a total of 25 plus years of experience as a teacher.  I am proud that 20 of those years have been in Disrtict Five.

I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina where I earned a BA in Early Childhood Education. I am currently Certified and Highly Qualified with the S.C. Department of Education in the areas of Early Childhood Education and Special Education Learning Disabilities K-12. In addition, I have successfully completed numerous postgraduate academic courses directly related to the needs of our students. I am also certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention by the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI).
