My name is Missy Talbert and I am a Reading Interventionist. I have also taught second grade and I have been trained as a Reading Recovery teacher. I received my undergraduate degree from Columbia College and I have also earned my graduate degree in Reading and Literacy. In addition, I have over thirty hours of graduate course work and have earned the Read to Succeed Literacy Teacher endorsement.
I have been married to an amazing man for over 30 wonderful years and we have two very awesome children. My son graduated from Clemson University and my daughter graduated from the University of South Carolina.
In my spare time I like to read all kinds of books, spend time with my family, and walk my dogs! I love to watch college football...especially those Clemson Tigers!
“In teaching you cannot see the fruit of a day's work. It is invisible and remains so, maybe for twenty years.”
