My name is Angie Rimbo, and I am thrilled to be your child's Social Studies teacher on Team 1 this year! This is my seventh year at CrossRoads, and each year has left me with memories of fantastic students and learning experiences to treasure. I look forward to making new memories this year!
I have a separate website I have designed for student use, complete with links, study tools, and a calendar that shows what we are studying and homework. You can access that site using this link: http://rimboworldcultures.weebly.com/
A background on me:
This is my seventeenth year of full time teaching! I love what I do, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. CrossRoads is really an amazing school, and I am so happy to work here.
I have a grand sense of adventure; I grew up in Michigan, attended college (Valparaiso University) in Indiana, moved to Minnesota in 2003, then moved here to South Carolina in 2013. This moving around makes my accent hard to place; I can be occasionally heard pronouncing words with a Minnesota accent, calling Diet Coke "Pop", and throwing a "y'all" in every now and then for good measure.
I love learning, and earned my Masters Degree from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in 2007.
Team 1 students follow the same schedule each day, except for every other Friday, when teams have Morning Meetings. On these days the class periods are slightly shortened. You can access the schedules HERE.
