Mrs. Tina Tyler
Teaching the middle school adolescent child math is my passion. The 2016-2017 school year is my 24th year teaching math, and the last fifteen of those years have been here at CrossRoads where I currently teach math on Team One. Prior to teaching at CrossRoads, I taught math in grades fourth thru ninth and adult education. I have truly found my niche with sixth graders here at CRIS where students are at a crossroads in life- six years into their education, and six years until graduation. I strive to make sure each of my students enjoy the CrossRoads experience- where all are cherished and challenged, and I am so proud to be a part of such an exciting time in their life.
I am graduate of the University of South Carolina. Spending quality time with family- my husband and children is my favorite pastime. I also love container gardening, reading, traveling, being on the water, camping, hiking, exploring nature, calligraphy and nature photography.
I am looking forward to an exciting year with your sixth grader this year- class of 2023! Every teacher leaves an impact on every child- and I want your child to leave CRIS loving math!
