Mrs. Kathy Jones

I am very excited to be part of the HEC staff. Teaching has been a life-long dream of mine. I attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania for my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I have graduate degrees in Early Childhood Education and Educational Administration from Francis Marion University and USC, respectively. I am always eager to learn more! I have 28 years experience in elementary education. Past honors include Honor Roll Teacher of the Year for Florence School District in 2001 and National Board Certification. This will be my eighth year at HEC as a third grade teacher. It is truly a great place to be!
