Mrs. Anne Summers
I am so excited about serving as the Reaching Coach at Lake Murray Elementary School this year! This will be my 24th year in education and my 15th year at LMES, where I have served in the roles of Resource Teacher, Reading Interventionist, and Third Grade Teacher before taking on my new role as the Reading Coach. I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Special Education: Learning Disabilities from Clemson University. I have obtained a Master's + 30 Degree in Language and Literacy as well as the Read to Succeed Teacher Certification. Through Clemson University, I have completed Reading Recovery training and certification and am currently working towards completing my certification to be a Reading Coach.
My husband, Mason, and I live in Chapin. Our daughter, Caroline, is a Chapin High School graduate and currently a sophomore at Clemson University studying Middle-Level Education. Our son, Jake, is a junior at Chapin High School. When I am not at school, I love to read, spend time outdoors with my family, and follow Clemson sports! Go Tigers!

Ms. Robin Campbell
Dear Families,
My name is Robin Campbell and I have been at LMES since 2011. I have been teaching for many, many years! Previous to Lake Murray, I taught Reading Recovery and First Grade in Anderson, SC. Before that I taught Special Education in Lexington 2. I also have certification as a Reading Teacher and National Boards in Early Literacy.
At home I have a 1 year old yorkiepoo named Jasper. He loves to go on walks and cuddle up at night while I read. I wish I could bring him to school with me. In my free time, I love going to state and national parks to take pictures of wildlife. Some of my favorite pictures include bears, moose, and painted buntings. I have even had a picture of cedar waxwing birds printed in the South Carolina Wildlife magazine.
As a Reading Interventionist, I meet with 1 to 4 children at a time to practice reading, comprehending, and writing. My ultimate goal and hope is that I can create a love of reading with each child I teach. Through community, enthusiasm, and knowing each of my students, I hope to instruct and encourage each child to grow as a reader as we read and discuss lots and lots of books. Reading is like any sport or musical instrument, practice makes you better.
I am so excited to be a part of your child's life. I know through our partnership, communication, and dedication we will be able to accomplish what is best for your child. Please let me know if there is anything you need to know or want to discuss. We are in this together and I want this to be the best year ever for your child.

Mrs. Jennifer Ebert
Dear Families,
My name is Jennifer Ebert and I am one of the reading interventionist here at LMES. I have previously taught kindergarten in Newberry, South Carolina, Reading Recovery in Atlanta, Georgia, first grade teacher and literacy coach in Lexington 1, and first grade teacher here at LMES. I’m very excited to be teaching our future leaders. Children are so curious, imaginative, and eager to learn; and being elementary students, they definitely keep you on your toes. In addition to these great qualities of an elementary student, I think teacher is a quality that should be included. We can learn so much from our little ones. I know I learn from them each day more than they know.
My husband (Mark) and I have four wonderful children who keep us busy. We also have a Boxer named Boomer who is definitely part of the family and we love him very much.
I’m so excited to be able to be a part of your child’s life! I know through our partnership, communication, and dedication we will be able to accomplish what is best for your child. Please let me know if there is anything we need to talk about. I want to have open communication from me to you and from you to me. We are in this together for the better of our children. As partners in education, I want to work with you to make our children the best here at Lake Murray Elementary!
