Mrs. Foster

Welcome to Second Grade! I am so excited to be part of your child's learning experiences. I look forward to making your child's time at school as exciting and engaging as possible. 

I have enjoyed my 21 years of teaching and have taught First and Second Grade throughout my teaching career in New York, Michigan and South Carolina. I have also completed additional reading courses to obtain my Language and Literacy Endorsement. I was fortunate to also work as a Reading Interventionist at Dutch Fork Elementary. I am excited to be back in the classroom where I can continue to share my love of reading and learning with my students. 

I moved to South Carolina 17 years ago to enjoy South Carolina's great weather and fun places to travel. I  live with my husband and two dogs, Porkchop and Ellie. I have two daughters, Kate and Sarah. They are all grown and living on their own. One is a nurse and one is a teacher! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading and pretending that I travel to far away places:)
