Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (P.B.I.S.) is Chapin High School’s School-Wide Rewards System.
PBIS is designed to teach students pro-social skills by supporting behaviors consistent with a positive and safe learning environment. Students are recognized for exhibiting positive behaviors by receiving claw cash.
Chapin High named a PBIS Ribbon School!
Chapin High School was recognized as a school of excellence in promoting positive behavior practices that support students’ academic and behavioral success. The SC State Department of Education recognizes schools that demonstrate implementation and sustainability of the PBIS process through measurable criteria. "A recognized school is one that is implementing Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) with fidelity and quality, and that is seeing improved student outcomes."
