Alison Lloyd

Bienvenue! I started teaching in 1996 in my hometown of Naperville, Illinois before moving to Hilton Head. I took a break from teaching to raise my children and returned to the classroom at Irmo HS and River Springs Elementary. I have been teaching at Chapin Middle School since 2017. I graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in French. I also have a MA in Counseling Psychology, a Gifted and Talented endorsement, and am working towards an ESOL endorsement. I have traveled extensively worldwide and completed two study abroad programs in France (Paris and Nice).  My husband and I have a son (CHS '20, College of Charleston '24), a daughter (MMC '23, College of the Florida Keys '27), and numerous pets. My hobbies include scuba diving, swimming, traveling, and photography. I am looking forward to another great year at CMS!
