Mrs. Layla Mathis

Hello! I have been teaching at Chapin Middle school since 2017 and I am excited to share this journey with your child. I attended College of Charleston and began my teaching career in Savannah, GA where I taught Language Arts. This will be my fifth year teaching and it is my fourth year here at Chapin Middle School. When I am not at school I can be found spending time with my husband and our son. I am looking forward to a wonderful year learning about SC History with your child!
