Hello!
I am originally from Pennsylvannia, a little town named South Williamsport, home of the Little League World Series. I am a proud a graduate of The College of Wooster, earning a BA in Chemistry in 1990. I then used my degree in the Environmental Science field before beginning my teaching career in 1992. I completed my M.Ed. from USC in 1996 emphasizing chemistry and received a National Board Certificate in 2002 and recertified in 2012.
I am just beginning my fourth year at SHHS,20th year in District 5, and 29th year of teaching in South Carolina. I love hosting my favorite club: The Cheese Club.
I have been married 24 years and have three children: Lauren, a Sophomore at Penn in Philadelphia; Sophia, a Senior at SHHS and beginning all her college applications; and Karl, a Sophomore at SHHS who is taking advantage of the proximity to the District CATE Center and taking Fire Fighting.
