Mr. Horst Daichendt
I was born in Romania in 1972. In 2000 I have moved with my family to Orangeburg, South Carolina, and in 2010 to Lexington. My wife, Nicole, is Math teacher at Dutch Fork HS, while our daughter, Bernadine, is a junior at Clemson, and our son, Alex, is an 8th grader at Dutch Fork MS.
My teaching career in the US has taken me from Holly Hill-Roberts HS, to Edisto HS, Lexington HS, River Bluff HS, and I joined Spring Hill HS in 2017.
I always say, that I was born and raised for Calculus, but since I have discovered Statistics and AP Statistics, there is not a more fascinating subject than Statistics. I enjoy the fact that Stats deals with the gray area and with the "So what?" Everyone can get a calculator or a software to give us an output, the questions is: can we use that output?
Outside of school I enjoy refereeing soccer, both club and high school. So, maybe we will meet on the pitch.
